Job summary

MacLean Power Systems is seeking an Operator 2 - Forming in Trenton, Tennessee to set up and operate forming equipment and inspect parts for quality. You will read blueprints, interpret engineering specifications, and perform advanced troubleshooting while maintaining safety and 5S standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience, can work under minimal supervision, and will complete documentation accurately.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform work under minimal supervision.
• Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher level staff.
• Possess comprehensive working knowledge of subject matter.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned mechanical equipment.
• Check that items produced pass quality control requirements.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of equipment and performs adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Use required gaging instruments.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
