Job summary

New Weds Foods is seeking a packaging associate to support our seasoning department on the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm). The role focuses on bagging product on packaging lines, ensuring accurate weights, and rotating to other pack-line positions as needed.

Qualified candidates will have at least a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of packaging experience in a food manufacturing environment. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, 401(k), and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• 1 year minimum of packaging experience in food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up machine for startup as required.
• Verifies ingredient being bagged and batch with Supervisor as needed.
• Fills bags with product to target weight and maintains line standards.
• Assists in stacking at end of line by loading boxes/bags onto pallet.
• Completes paperwork as needed and maintains product integrity.
• Assists in inventory and cycle counts.
• Keeps area and equipment clean; follows LOTO procedures during cleaning.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Essential Functions:

• Properly sets up machine for startup.
