Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a packaging line operator for the swing shift starting at 3:30pm. The role involves blending and bagging on the production line, with cross-rotation to other packaging line positions as needed.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, weighing up to 55 lbs, following recipes, and loading pallets. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for food-manufacturing knowledge and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• Knowledge about manufacturing food preferred.
• Ability to communicate well both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Properly sets up the machine for start up.
• Fill blender with ingredients weighing up to 55lbs.
• Mix ingredients per recipe.
• Fills bags with product as per the required weight and maintains packaging line standards.
• Assist in stacking at the end of the line by loading boxes/bags onto pallets (bags weigh 50lbs).
• Complete paperwork as needed.
• Maintain the integrity of the product.
• Follow LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
• Regularly stand, walk, bend, lift and reach.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting production goals for customer orders by efficiently blending and bagging product on packaging line. This employee will rotate to other position at the packaging line as needed.
