Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a packaging operator to bag product on packaging lines and rotate to other positions as needed to meet production goals. This on-site role requires attention to weight specs, adherence to line standards, and the ability to assist with end-of-line stacking and paperwork while maintaining product integrity.

We value high school diploma or GED and at least one year of packaging experience in a food manufacturing environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• 1 year minimum of packaging experience in food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Properly sets up machine for startup.
• Verifies ingredient being bagged.
• Verifies batch with Supervisor as needed.
• Fills bags with product as per the required weight and maintains packaging line standards.
• Assist in stacking at the end of the line by loading boxes/bags onto pallet.
• Complete paperwork as needed.
• Maintain the integrity of the product.
• Assist in inventory and cycle counts.
• Keeps area and equipment clean; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
