Job summary

Lawndale Christian Health Center is seeking an Operator/Scheduler to join the care team. You will handle incoming calls and schedule patient appointments, serving as the first point of contact and routing inquiries to the appropriate department.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires basic computer skills, a high school diploma, and the ability to work in a multicultural setting while upholding the center's mission of providing quality, affordable healthcare.

Qualifications

• Some computer skills (Windows-based) and telephone experience preferred.

Position Summary

The care team Operator/Scheduler, responsible for handling incoming calls and scheduling appointments, is the first member of the care team to interact with patients. Dispatchers function as switchboard operators in directing calls to the appropriate department or care team operator.

• Requires some computer skills (Windows based) and telephone experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office a plus.
