Hermann-Forwarding seeks an Executive Vice President of Operations for the Northeast to lead transportation and warehousing operations across a key geographic region. The role focuses on efficiency, safety, profitability, and continuous improvement in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The VP will oversee large teams, budget and forecast resources, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive strategic operational plans aligned with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, warehousing, or logistics operations.
• Proven track record of managing large teams and complex operations in transportation and warehousing.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and service quality across the Northeast region.
• Lead, mentor, and manage regional operations teams, including warehouse managers, logistics coordinators, and transportation supervisors.
• Oversee compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service to align operations with business objectives and customer expectations.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, and capex planning to optimize financial performance; drive tech adoption and process automation.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and regulatory agencies.
