Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Operations Transformation Intern in Chicago to assist with operations modernization and improvement initiatives across projects, working closely with the Operations Transformation Practice. You’ll help teams deliver major transformation programs, focusing on efficiency, data analytics, and client collaboration from day one.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering or related fields.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Interest in operational strategy and business transformation.
• Experience with data analysis or process mapping through coursework or projects.
• Ability to work in teams and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support transformation initiatives focusing on operational efficiency and digital operations management.
• Transform data into actionable performance insights for client projects.
• Maintain strong client and team relationships to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• Identify and help remediate engagement risks with guidance from the team.
• Communicate findings clearly to internal teams and client stakeholders.
