Job summary

Venture Global LNG, based in Louisiana, seeks a Training Simulator Trainer to lead the OTS Training and Competency Program at the Plaquemines facility. The role focuses on designing training, mapping competencies, creating scenarios, and coordinating with operations to improve safety and performance.

Qualifications

• 10 years in operation of oil and gas pipelines and distributed control systems in process facilities.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in OTS systems design and training.
• Must maintain a TWIC card in good standing status.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement OTS training and competency programs.
• Administer OTS activities including competency mapping, curriculum design and scenario creation.
• Develop lesson plans and assessment guides for OTS training delivery.
• Support design, testing and delivery of OTS systems from vendor to facilities.
• Evaluate operator performance during training and provide feedback to all stakeholders.
• Oversee development of OTS training courses and programs to meet standards.
• Identify scenarios from real-time data and incidents for OTS training.
• Oversee maintenance contracts to ensure OTS is serviced and effective.
• Track and measure effectiveness of OTS programs and share metrics.
• Advise leadership on gaps and action plans.
