Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Lake Norden, SD, is seeking an Operations Training Manager to lead site-wide manufacturing training programs and to drive the local training strategy aligned with corporate Education & Training pillars.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and at least five years in learning and development within manufacturing, with food manufacturing experience preferred. Monday–Friday on-site with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum five years of learning and development/employee engagement experience required.
• Manufacturing training experience required.
• Food Manufacturing training experience preferred.
• French language knowledge may be required for Quebec roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead local production training strategy, operationalization, and site-wide programming for the manufacturing population.
• Collaborate with corporate teams to deliver training on Health & Safety, Quality, Operations, Compliance, and Operational Excellence.
• Operationalize the Education & Training Pillar Local roadmap with the Global Pillar lead.
• Develop procedures and structured training programs aligned to global operations and plant goals.
• Coordinate with Plant Leadership, Human Capital and Operational Functions to align local training strategy.
• Oversee site-wide training execution using a PDCA approach to continuous improvement.
• Build, lead, and coach a high-performing local training team.
• Deploy digital learning tools; explore AI to optimize content, development, and learning management.
