Job summary

MPE-Inc is seeking an Operations Training Manager to lead the training department and manage all operations training programs in Milwaukee, WI. The role focuses on equipping operations staff with knowledge and skills to improve performance and grow into future roles.

The position partners with organizational leadership to execute learning and development strategies that support strategic initiatives and goals. Strong collaboration with production managers is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of training-related experience.
• Lead/Trainer experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create written procedural documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a structured approach to On-The-Job (OJT) training.
• Collaborate with production managers and supervisors to develop and support training programs.
• Define performance metrics that align with the organization’s success metrics.
• Use adult learning principles to design and develop learning solutions meeting objectives.
• Implement a Train the Trainer program.
• Maintain and improve process work instructions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness for continuous improvement of content and delivery.
• Develop partnerships with all business units within the organization.
• Coordinate tracking and maintenance of employee training records.
• Identify new training methodologies and tools.
