Job summary

KeHE Distributors, a worker-owned distributor of natural and organic, specialty, and fresh products, is hiring for a full-time training coordinator in California. The role leads new-hire onboarding, transfers, and safety training across shifts and temperature zones, aligning employees with KeHE culture and performance standards.

Primary responsibilities include coaching, ensuring completion of training documents, and collaborating with zone supervisors to drive safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Some computer experience preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule and work in multiple temperature zones.
• May require travel to other DC’s.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Train all new hires within operations across shifts and temperature zones.
• Train transfers and retrain associates not meeting standards.
• Work as an extension of management to ensure new employees meet progressive performance schedules and KeHE culture.
• Support safety initiatives and foster a strong safety culture.
• Maintain housekeeping and attend to attendance and attitude to ensure zone productivity and safety.
• Cross-train employees and assist with other zone training as needed.
