Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a CVG Hub Operations Training Lead to oversee and execute training policies for outbound and inbound cargo handling at the hub. You will ensure processes meet customer and internal requirements, and are completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include supervising package/freight processing, documenting training compliance, coaching new hires, and guiding teams to maintain company standards in unloading, primary, and smalls operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with training within the Unloads, Primary and Smalls area.
• Leadership and team development experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple employees.

• Receives and process packages/freight within the hub.
• Issues documents verifying the training process to applicable department(s).
• Ensures the training of each employee meets company standards of each department during package/freight processing.
• Works closely with new hires and tracks the progress of each employee.
• Ability to multi-task and direct multiple employees.
• Identifies and segregates non-conforming and dangerous goods cargo.

CVG Hub Operations Training Leads are responsible for establishing and executing the policies and procedures necessary to manage the physical movement of outbound or inbound cargo within, into, and out of the hub. The position ensures that the entire process meets customer and internal requirements and is completed in an organized, efficient and safe manner.
