Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a CVG Hub Operations Lead to manage outbound and inbound cargo flow through the hub, ensuring processes meet customer and internal standards. The role requires organizing, supervising, and coordinating the training of staff to maintain safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include supervising multiple employees, trouble-shooting issues, and ensuring all shipments comply with regulatory and internal guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with training within the Unloads, Primary and Smalls area.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to direct multiple employees.
• Strong computer and communication skills for training and tracking.
• Flexible shifts and willingness to work in a busy hub environment.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes packages/freight within the hub.
• Issues documents validating training across departments.
• Ensures training meets company standards for each department.
• Collaborates with new hires and tracks progress.
• Able to multi-task and supervise multiple staff members.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming or dangerous cargo.

CVG Hub Operations Leads are responsible for establishing and executing the policies and procedures necessary to manage the physical movement of outbound or inbound cargo within, into, and out of the hub. The Operations Lead ensures that the entire process meets customer and internal requirements and is completed in an organized, efficient and safe manner.

Tasks & Accountabilities

• Receives and process packages/freight within the hub.
• Issues documents verifying the training process to applicable department(s).
• Ensures the training of each employee meets company standards of each department during package/freight processing.
• Works close with new hires and track the progress of each employee.
• Ability to multi-task and direct multiple employees.
• Identifies and segregates non-conforming and dangerous goods cargo.
