Job summary

DelMarAerospace Corporation in the United States is seeking an Aircrew Scheduler to maintain training and standardization records for a B-1B squadron. You will manage currency and qualification documentation, coordinating with scheduling and leadership to ensure accurate, timely data and reports.

The role involves data entry in PEX, ARMS updates, record reviews, and regular updates to flight readiness. Candidates should have SECRET clearance and multi-year experience in training environments

Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with PEX or a similar proprietary scheduling program.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Access, Excel and SharePoint.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a squadron, group and/or wing training and/or stan eval shop — OR — three (3) years in a DoD flying squadron, group and/or wing equivalent training and/or stan eval office.

Responsibilities

  • Enter training and evaluation data in PEX and locally developed database systems as required.
  • Coordinate with Aviation Resource Management personnel to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS).
  • Review and update student and permanent party records, folders and grade books per AFI 11-202V1, AFI 11-2MDS-V1, associated MAJCOM and installation supplements, and locally developed guidance.
  • Coordinate with the scheduling office to maximize training opportunities in accordance with unit leadership guidance, keeping scheduling and training consistent with AFIs.
  • Perform weekly individual gradebook checks of personnel training and ancillary training requirements.
  • Provide weekly updates to squadron or group leadership containing the flight and readiness status of personnel.
  • Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the unit operations supervisor, and weekly summaries for the DO or group supervision.
  • Administer classes and exams as required, coordinating with scheduling so crewmembers are booked for Crew Resource Management, Instructor CRM, Instrument Refresher Course and other grounding or pre-deployment training.
  • Prepare periodic training and testing plans for approval and scheduling.
  • Produce the monthly Aircrew Qualification Level Summary (Letter of Xs) and provide in-work and final documents to Wing Current Operations and Wing Stan Eval no later than the last day of each month.
  • Produce AF Form 4324 Aircraft Assignment/Aircrew Qualification Worksheets, training aids, monthly and quarterly Ready Aircrew Program reports and RAP reporting required by the current tasking message, and monthly summaries of aircrew probation and regression status.
  • Assist in the development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.

Job Summary

QUALIFICATION WAIVERS

Specific qualifications may be waived by the Government on a case-by-case basis where a candidate has the knowledge and skills to readily support the mission, including scheduling experience outside PEX and training or stan eval experience from another service or mission area. Candidates meeting most of the qualifications listed should apply.

SECURITY AND CITIZENSHIP
  • U.S. citizenship is a condition of employment.
  • Active SECRET clearance, or a previously held SECRET clearance that expired and was not revoked.
  • Eligibility for Restricted Data access.
  • Work is performed at the SECRET level.
EMPLOYMENT TERMS
  • On site at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. The position cannot be performed remotely.
  • Full time. Core working hours total 1,880 per year over 47 weeks, generally eight hours daily across five days, as the Contracting Officer's Representative directs.
  • During exercises and holiday periods duty hours may move, not exceeding nine hours in a day, with known changes coordinated 48 hours prior.
  • Federal holidays are observed, together with AFGSC Family Days.
  • Four Aircrew Scheduler positions and three Operations Training and Stan Eval positions are anticipated here.
  • Anticipated start on or about 26 September 2026, with all positions filled by 26 October 2026.
  • Compensation negotiable and commensurate with experience. Medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time off and 401(k).
  • Base period plus four one-year option periods.
LOCATION

Ellsworth AFB is located at Box Elder, South Dakota, approximately ten miles from Rapid City and adjacent to the Black Hills. South Dakota has no state income tax and housing costs remain moderate.
