Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. is seeking an Operations Technician in Indianapolis, IN.

You will operate complex process equipment in a plant and follow training, process documents and 5S standards to support aerospace coating applications. You will assist maintenance with troubleshooting and repairs, inspect parts and perform routine adjustments, while wearing required PPE and meeting safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Must read, comprehend and understand work instructions and technical specifications.
• Ability to perform basic math in all units of measure.
• Must pass required physical functions for the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate complex process equipment in a plant per training and process documents.
• Operate and maintain equipment applying coating/plating for aerospace applications.
• Assist maintenance with troubleshooting and repairs and report faults to management.
• Inspect parts, use hand tools, and make minor adjustments to production equipment.
• Wear PPE as required by task or area.

What you will enjoy doing*

• In this role, you will operate complex process equipment in a plant according to training, process documents, and 5S standards
• You will operate and maintain equipment that applies coating and/or plating for aerospace applications
• You will assist maintenance in trouble shooting and correction of equipment malfunctions or repairs and reporting any faults to management and maintenance
• You may be requiredto inspect parts, use hand tools and make minor and routine adjustments toproduction equipment without assistance

• You will work in a productionenvironment that may include exposure to noise, dust, vibration, heat,cold, and industrial chemicals while wearing required personal protectiveequipment (PPE)
• Ability to visually inspect parts,materials, and process conditions to identify defects, damage,contamination, or other nonconforming conditions
• Ability to wear safety glasses,hearing protection, gloves, respirators, protective clothing, and otherPPE as required by the task or work area
• You must have all of the above requirements plus you will have a minimum of3 years of experience in a technical role in a manufacturing and/or aerospace environment
