Operations Technician

Indianapolis, IN, United States | req23277 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm

What you will enjoy doing

1. Operate complex process equipment in a plant according to training, process documents, and 5S standards.
2. Operate and maintain equipment that applies coating and/or plating for aerospace applications.
3. Assist maintenance in troubleshooting and correcting equipment malfunctions or repairs, and report faults to management and maintenance.
4. Inspect parts, use hand tools, and make minor and routine adjustments to production equipment without assistance.

What Makes You Great

As a level I (G9) Technician

1. Possess a minimum High School Diploma or GED.
2. Ability to read, comprehend, and understand work instructions and technical specifications.
3. Ability to perform basic math operations in all units of measure.
4. Successfully pass the physical requirements of the job.

As a level II (G10) Technician

1. All requirements of Level I, plus a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical role in manufacturing and/or aerospace environment.

As a level III (G11) Technician

1. All requirements of Level I, plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role in manufacturing and/or aerospace environment.
