Job summary

Radial Inc. is seeking an Operations Systems Planner to ensure the warehouse has the system support, processes, and training required to reach operational goals.

You will coordinate between systems, fulfillment center, and operations teams to develop functional requirements and flows. You will prioritize delivery, testing, and implementation of new functionality, while maintaining data integrity and evaluating KPIs for continuous improvement within the operation and system functionality.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing with conveyors and automation.
• Experience with Logiwa and Manhattan Active WMS and Pipe 17 OMS reporting and troubleshooting.
• Verbal skills to describe conveyor areas to vendor/maintenance teams.
• SQL experience is required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Set up and launch new clients on WMS systems.
• Troubleshoot WMS/WCS issues with Logiwa, Manhattan Active WMS and Pipe 17 OMS.
• Interact directly with clients regarding WMS/WCS needs and provide updates in meetings.
• Document system changes and create SOPs for changes.
• Lead project work and client requests (promos, inventory checks, replenishment).
• Monitor conveyors and automation to ensure proper workflow.
• Assist with testing and validation of system modifications prior to install.

RoleSummary:

TheWarehouseOperationsSystemsPlannerensuresthe fulfillmentcenter has the system support, processes,and training required to achieveoperationalobjectives;coordinates between systems, fulfillment center, and operations teamsto develop and maintain detailed functional requirements and operational process flows;prioritize andmanagethe delivery, functional testing, and implementation of new functionality and enhancements;manage and validate data integrity; andanalyze and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for continual improvement withinthe operation and system functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible forWMSsystem set up, configurations and launching of new clients.
• Work with WMS (Logiwa, Manhattan Active) and OMS (Pipe 17)for trouble shooting and resolvingwarehouse management system (WMS)andwarehouse control system (WCS)issues
• Responsible for systemsetup, configurations and launching of new clients.
• Interactdirectlywith clientsregardingWMS/WCSneeds, andprovidingupdates during client and operational meetings.
• Must understandsystem configurations as it relates to andimpactsclientbilling
• Monitorsall conveyance and automation systems to ensure proper workflow
• Assistintesting forsystem modifications and walk through the process operationally prior toinstall.
• Documentsall system changes,exceptionreporting forall warehousefunctions,root cause analysis and problem solving
• Creates detailedSOPsfor any changes to physical/systemic setup driven bythebusiness.
• Leadsand executesproject work as well as client requests (promos, qualityandinventory checks, slotting updates, research)
• Creates/updates slotting matrix used byWavePlanners to aid in making proper replenishmenttransactions
• Monitors aged inventory transactions and investigates as needed
• Work Change Carrier (orders that need to be re-rate shopped interfaced to the WMS)
• Research andassistwithskuissuesto include auditing item profiles and on hand inventory
• Assist IT and Maintenance with operational sorter issues involving trays, chutes, scanners, andsystem.
• Assistswithsystemsuser set up,password resets, training
• All other duties assigned by supervisor ormanager.

Qualifications:

• Experience working withLogiwaand Manhattan ActiveWMSANDPipe 17 OMSreporting and troubleshooting preferred.
• Experience, 2-4 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment,working withconveyorsortationand other automation
• Verbal skills/knowledge to describe specific conveyor areas to vendor/maintenance team should replacement parts be needed/installed
• SQL experiencerequired
• Mustbe able to lift 50 lbs.
• High School diploma or GED
