Job summary

Radial is seeking an Operations Systems Planner to ensure the fulfillment center has system support, processes, and training to meet operational goals. You will coordinate between systems, the fulfillment center, and operations to develop functional requirements and process flows, managing delivery, testing, and implementation of new functionality.

You will work with WMS (Logiwa, Manhattan Active) and OMS (Pipe 17), monitor data integrity, and analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvements in

• Experience with Logiwa WMS and Manhattan Active WMS, and Pipe 17 OMS reporting.
• 2-4 years in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Verbal skills to describe conveyor areas to vendor/maintenance.
• SQL experience required.
• MS Office Suite and Smartsheet proficiency; good email etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Set up WMS configurations and launch new clients.
• Troubleshoot WMS/WCS issues with Logiwa, Manhattan Active, and Pipe 17.
• Interact with clients regarding WMS/WCS needs; provide updates in client/operational meetings.
• Understand system configurations as it relates to client billing.
• Monitor conveyance and automation systems to ensure proper workflow.
• Assist in testing system modifications and walk through changes operationally.
• Document all system changes and create SOPs for changes.
• Lead and execute project work and client requests; manage replenishment and slotting updates.

Role Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Systems Planner ensures the fulfillment center has the system support, processes, and training required to achieve operational objectives; coordinates between systems, fulfillment center, and operations teams to develop and maintain detailed functional requirements and operational process flows; prioritize and manage the delivery, functional testing, and implementation of new functionality and enhancements; manage and validate data integrity; and analyze and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for continual improvement within the operation and system functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for WMS system set up, configurations and launching of new clients.
• Work with WMS (Logiwa, Manhattan Active) and OMS (Pipe 17) for trouble shooting and resolving warehouse management system (WMS) and warehouse control system (WCS) issues
• Responsible for system set up, configurations and launching of new clients.
• Interact directly with clients regarding WMS/WCS needs, and providing updates during client and operational meetings.
• Must understand system configurations as it relates to and impacts client billing
• Monitors all conveyance and automation systems to ensure proper workflow
• Assist in testing for system modifications and walk through the process operationally prior to install.
• Documents all system changes, exception reporting for all warehouse functions, root cause analysis and problem solving
• Creates detailed SOPs for any changes to physical/systemic setup driven by the business.
• Leads and executes project work as well as client requests (promos, quality and inventory checks, slotting updates, research)
• Creates/updates slotting matrix used by Wave Planners to aid in making proper replenishment transactions
• Monitors aged inventory transactions and investigates as needed
• Work Change Carrier (orders that need to be re-rate shopped interfaced to the WMS)
• Research and assist with sku issues to include auditing item profiles and on hand inventory
• Assist IT and Maintenance with operational sorter issues involving trays, chutes, scanners, and system.
• Assists with systems user set up, password resets, training
• All other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with Logiwa and Manhattan Active WMS AND Pipe 17 OMS reporting and troubleshooting preferred.
• Experience, 2-4 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment, working with conveyor sortation and other automation
• Verbal skills/knowledge to describe specific conveyor areas to vendor/maintenance team should replacement parts be needed/installed
• SQL experience required
• Computer Skills – MS Office Suite, Smartsheet and e-Mail etiquette required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• High School diploma or GED
