Job summary

Radial Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operations Systems Planner to ensure the fulfillment center has the system support, processes, and training needed to meet objectives.

You will coordinate between systems, fulfillment center, and operations teams to develop functional requirements and process flows, manage testing and implementation of enhancements, and analyze KPIs for continual improvement. • High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing.
• Experience with conveyor sortation and automation preferred.
• SQL experience preferred.
• MS Office Suite with strong Excel reporting and email etiquette required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and launch WMS configurations for new clients.
• Collaborate with WMS (Logiwa, Manhattan Active) and OMS (Pipe 17) to troubleshoot issues.
• Interact with clients regarding WMS/WCS needs and provide updates in meetings.
• Monitor system configurations and their impact on client billing.
• Develop and update SOPs for system changes and operational processes.
• Lead projects and client requests (promos, stock checks, replenishment).

Role Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Systems Planner ensures the fulfillment center has the system support, processes, and training required to achieve operational objectives; coordinates between systems, fulfillment center, and operations teams to develop and maintain detailed functional requirements and operational process flows; prioritize and manage the delivery, functional testing, and implementation of new functionality and enhancements; manage and validate data integrity; and analyze and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for continual improvement within the operation and system functionality.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for WMS system set up, configurations and launching of new clients.

Work with WMS (Logiwa, Manhattan Active) and OMS (Pipe 17) for trouble shooting and resolving warehouse management system (WMS) and warehouse control system (WCS) issues

Responsible for system set up, configurations and launching of new clients.

Interact directly with clients regarding WMS/WCS needs, and providing updates during client and operational meetings.

Must understand system configurations as it relates to and impacts client billing

Monitors all conveyance and automation systems to ensure proper workflow

Assist in testing for system modifications and walk through the process operationally prior to install.

Documents all system changes, exception reporting for all warehouse functions, root cause analysis and problem solving

Creates detailed SOPs for any changes to physical/systemic setup driven by the business.

Leads and executes project work as well as client requests (promos, quality and inventory checks, slotting updates, research)

Creates/updates slotting matrix used by Wave Planners to aid in making proper replenishment transactions

Monitors aged inventory transactions and investigates as needed

Work Change Carrier (orders that need to be re-rate shopped interfaced to the WMS)

Research and assist with sku issues to include auditing item profiles and on hand inventory

Assist IT and Maintenance with operational sorter issues involving trays, chutes, scanners, and system.

Assists with systems user set up, password resets, training

All other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED

Experience working with Logiwa and Manhattan Active WMS AND Pipe 17 OMS reporting and troubleshooting preferred.

Experience, 2-4 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment, working with conveyor sortation and other automation

Verbal skills/knowledge to describe specific conveyor areas to vendor/maintenance team should replacement parts be needed/installed

SQL experience preferred.

Computer Skills – MS Office Suite with a strong focus on Excel reporting, and e-Mail etiquette required.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Travel:

This position is not remote.

Travel up to 10%.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.
