Job summary

Sunkeeper Solar in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an Operations & Systems Specialist to keep PV, battery storage, and cogeneration projects running smoothly for the NYC metro area. You will lead onboarding/offboarding, HR policy updates, IT platform administration (Google Workspace), and vendor management while supporting managing partners on project tasks and reporting.

The role requires 1+ year in operations of a small to mid-size construction business, a BA/AS, and a readiness to work on-site with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree required.
• Experience administrating Google Workspace and related IT platforms.
• Understanding of network and endpoint security practices, group policy administration.
• Detail oriented and organized, with a positive attitude and teamwork mindset.
• On-site work within a team with occasional remote work upon manager approval.

Responsibilities

• Benefit Management: track benefits usage, respond to questions, run competitive solicitations, ensure payroll deductions, administer new programs.
• HR: lead onboarding/offboarding, maintain policy handbooks and SOPs, manage 3rd party PEO relationships.
• Insurance: assist in information for audits.
• Regulatory Compliance: assist with filings and compliance.
• Vendor Management: track payments, tax info, insurance status, onboard vendors.
• Project Tasks: review/close contracts, assist with contract review for BDR and subs, lien waivers.
• Supporting Managing Partners: assist with operational tasks, admin tasks, prepare presentations, run company-wide reports.
• Office Management: receive mail, set up new workstations.
• Systems: IT Platform Admin, IT Help Desk, Asset Management, Network Management, Process Improvement (AI tools).
• Reporting: reports to Managing Partner.
