Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking an Associate Manager, Operational Sustainability & Decarbonization to lead enterprise energy, water, and emissions performance across manufacturing networks. You will build dashboards, run scenario analyses, and guide capital projects with cross-functional partners.

Based in Hershey, PA, with travel up to 20% across the continental U.S., you’ll blend technical expertise with storytelling to communicate progress and enable bold decarbonization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with operational environmental performance, including energy and water efficiency programs.
• Strong analytical capability in emissions modeling, scenario analysis, forecasting, dashboards, and executive-ready storytelling.
• Working knowledge of Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG accounting, non-FLAG decarbonization, the GHG Protocol, and ESG reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise energy, water, waste, and emissions performance across Hershey’s manufacturing network.
• Provide actionable insight on energy efficiency, fuel use, and emissions pathways across facilities.
• Strengthen performance dashboards and executive reporting; help prioritize sustainability capital projects.
