Job summary

The Hershey Company in Hershey, PA is seeking an Associate Manager, Operational Sustainability & Decarbonization to lead enterprise energy, water, and emissions performance across manufacturing. You will combine analytics with portfolio oversight and partner across functions to advance environmental commitments.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive non-FLAG decarbonization, develop dashboards, and support capital projects, with up to 20% travel

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sustainability, energy management, decarbonization experience
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, manufacturing or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Experience with operational environmental performance, energy and water efficiency programs, and GHG accounting

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise energy, water, waste, and emissions performance across manufacturing network
• Provide actionable insights on energy efficiency, water use, and emissions scopes 1 and 2
• Strengthen performance dashboards and executive reporting; prioritize sustainability capital projects
• Maintain non-FLAG decarbonization pathways, forecasts, and scenario models
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Responsible Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, ESG Controllership, Supply Chain, and partners
• Support supplier engagement, decarbonization of transportation and logistics, and evaluation of new tech and data solutions
• Build relationships with industry groups and solution providers to accelerate progress
