Job summary

QXO, North America’s largest distributor and installer of insulation, roofing products, and lumber/building materials, seeks an energetic operational support professional for a busy Decatur branch. This role covers purchasing, accounting, HR, IT, and general admin while promoting cross-department communication.

The position requires strong organizational skills, leadership, and bilingual English/Spanish (preferred). Local travel <10% and lifting up to 50 pounds may be involved. Compensation ranges from $13.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• Previous experience in administrative services or other related fields.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage a variety of tasks.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance of purchasing, accounting, credit/collections, IT and overall administrative requirements.
• Provide HR administrative assistance to management teams.
• Manage records and information.
• Perform accounting and/or financial analysis.
• Monitor credit and collections activities.
• Manage daily conversion of quotes to work orders.
• Review and approve vendor invoices.
• Encourage and improve cross-department internal communication.
• Perform general office tasks (replenish office supplies, distribute mail, custodial duties, etc.).
