Job summary

The Learning Experience – Worcester is seeking an experienced Operations Support Specialist to help keep our classrooms and daily center operations running smoothly.

You’ll work closely with center leadership, provide classroom coverage where needed, support teachers, help maintain required ratios, and assist with day-to-day needs that keep a busy early childhood center organized and successful. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC Lead Teacher Certification required.
• Experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Strong knowledge of MA EEC regulations.
• Highly organized and flexible with changing priorities.
• Able to lead and support both classrooms and center leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom leadership and coverage across Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs as needed.
• Help maintain appropriate staffing and teacher-to-child ratios throughout the day.
• Support classroom transitions, breaks, opening/closing needs, and schedule changes.
• Assist teaching teams with classroom organization, curriculum materials, and daily routines.
• Step in as a Lead Teacher when classroom coverage is required.
• Support new teachers and reinforce center procedures and expectations.
• Assist center leadership with daily operational priorities.
• Help maintain classroom documentation and licensing readiness.
• Identify needs throughout the center and proactively help resolve them.
• Maintain compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing, health, and safety requirements.

Location: The Learning Experience – Worcester, MA

Pay: $22–$23 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Worcester is seeking an experienced Operations Support Specialist to help keep our classrooms and daily center operations running smoothly.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced EEC Lead Teacher who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and supporting an entire school rather than remaining assigned to one classroom every day.

You’ll work closely with center leadership, provide classroom coverage where needed, support teachers, help maintain required ratios, and assist with the day-to‑day needs that keep a busy early childhood center organized and successful.

What You’ll Do

• Able to confidently support both classrooms and center leadership
