Job summary

HireArt is seeking an Operations Support Associate for on-site, in-person support at a Phoenix facility. You will help ensure smooth customer interactions and vehicle readiness, contributing to efficient rental operations under a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, 4-month contract position staffed via HireArt, with potential extension for local candidates. You will coordinate check-in, vehicle preparation, and compliance, while collaborating with on-site and remote teams to maintain

Qualifications

• 1+ year in-person customer service experience (retail, hospitality, or technical support).
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and insurability.
• Familiarity with local Phoenix market area.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; patient and de-escalation capable.
• Team-oriented and able to follow instructions while working independently.
• Comfortable with prolonged standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with the rental process: check-in, vehicle assignment, and returns.
• Prepare vehicles for drivers: fueling, cleaning, telematics installation, license plates, inspections.
• Organize and manage vehicle documents and compliance.
• Organize vehicle lot and coordinate transportation of vehicles.
• Complete daily rental operations tasks and report issues to the contact point.
• Maintain service standards when interacting with drivers and on-site staff.

Expected compensation: 19.00 USD Per Hour

HireArt is helping our client find an Operations Support Associate to join its designated market team.

In this role, you’ll provide on-site operational support at the assigned facility, ensuring efficient customer service and vehicle readiness.

The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and comfortable delivering hands‑on support in a fast‑paced environment.

What You'll Do

Customer Service and Vehicle Processing:

• Assist customers with the rental process, including check‑in, vehicle assignment, and rental return.
• Prepare rental vehicles for drivers, including fueling, cleaning, installing telematics and license plates, and conducting vehicle inspections.
• Manage and organize vehicle compliance documents.

Operational Support

• Organize the vehicle lot and coordinate vehicle transportation.
• Complete daily rental operations tasks.
• Report vehicle issues, program challenges, and bugs to the designated point of contact.

Standards And Communication

• Maintain the company’s service standards when interacting with drivers.
• Communicate effectively with on‑site staff and remote support teams.
• Provide clear, concise updates and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in an in‑person customer service role (e.g., retail, technical support, hospitality)
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license; satisfactory driving record; and insurable under the company’s policy
• Familiarity with the local market area
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve problems effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to maintain patience, de‑escalate situations, and work effectively in a team
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to handle prolonged standing and walking
