Job summary

HireArt is assisting its client in Milwaukee, WI to fill an Operations Support Associate role. The position is onsite, part-time for 8 weeks, with a possibility of extension.

You will support daily rental operations and ensure vehicle readiness for drivers at the designated facility. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of in-person customer service experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to communicate clearly with on-site staff and remote teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in an in-person customer service role (e.g., retail, technical support, hospitality)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to de-escalate situations and work effectively in a team
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods

Expected compensation: 19.00 USD Per Hour

HireArt is helping our client find an Operations Support Associate to join its designated market team.

In this role, you’ll provide on-site operational support at the assigned facility, ensuring efficient customer service and vehicle readiness.

The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and comfortable delivering hands-on support in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist customers with the rental process, including check-in, vehicle assignment, and rental return.
• Prepare rental vehicles for drivers, including fueling, cleaning, installing telematics and license plates, and conducting vehicle inspections.
• Manage and organize vehicle compliance documents.

Operational Support

• Organize the vehicle lot and coordinate vehicle transportation.
• Complete daily rental operations tasks.
• Report vehicle issues, program challenges, and bugs to the designated point of contact.

Standards And Communication

• Maintain the company’s service standards when interacting with drivers.
• Communicate effectively with on-site staff and remote support teams.
• Provide clear, concise updates and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in an in-person customer service role (e.g., retail, technical support, hospitality)
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license; satisfactory driving record; and insurable under the company’s policy
• Familiarity with the local market area
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve problems effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to maintain patience, de-escalate situations, and work effectively in a team
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to handle prolonged standing and walking
