Position Overview

Penske Logistics is seeking a proven leader with relevant experience to supervise drivers at one of our locations. The Operations Supervisor provides operational leadership at a single location, ensuring customer requirements are met while achieving company goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. People Management: Train and develop staff, communicate performance standards, conduct interviews, monitor attendance and productivity, motivate and engage team members.
2. Operations: Supervise logistics activities, conduct team meetings, optimize work methods, provide relief coverage, ensure operational compliance, and maintain accurate records.
3. Financial Oversight: Ensure adherence to financial policies, manage hours to minimize overtime, and meet productivity targets.
4. Safety: Promote safety activities, provide training and feedback, ensure compliance, and conduct safety observations.
5. Customer Experience & Growth: Meet customer goals, communicate commitments, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
6. Fleet & Assets: Plan work assignments, ensure equipment safety, coordinate maintenance, and manage projects.

Qualifications

• Leadership qualities with strong interpersonal skills.

• Excellent communication skills.
