Job summary

Penske Logistics in Livonia, MI is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead hourly staff and drive driver deliveries, loading and unloading, and customer service operations in alignment with our service and cost objectives.

You will manage people, systems, and equipment, conduct team meetings, coach and evaluate performance, schedule shifts, monitor attendance, and ensure safety, compliance, and continuous improvement to meet customer goals.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly associates and drivers to meet customer requirements.
• Manage daily tasks including dispatch, loading/unloading, and documentation.
• Conduct team meetings and performance coaching.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and overtime management.
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies.
• Participate in hiring process and engage with customers.
• Complete records and reports timely and accurately.
