Job summary

Univar Solutions USA Inc in Chester, VA is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily branch activities, including warehouse, transport, and safety compliance. You will supervise staff, coordinate tasks, ensure training, and maintain equipment and processes in line with company SOPs.

Responsibilities include driving efficiency, managing inventory, supporting sales and customer service, and conducting safety audits.

Qualifications

• Senior role requiring supervisory leadership and the ability to motivate employees to achieve goals.
• Analytical skills to track, record and report production.
• Experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Word.
• Strong organization skills with the ability to handle diverse workloads.
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements for FDARP applicable to the facility.

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily pre-shift meetings and communicates expectations to staff.
• Coordinates day-to-day work to meet branch goals.
• Ensures staff have tools and training on safety and operating standards.
• Creates a positive work environment and owner ship of branch performance.
• Oversees drug testing and medical surveillance as required.
