Univar Solutions in Chester, VA is seeking a Branch Operations Supervisor to oversee daily safe, efficient operations of the branch, including transport, warehouse and tank farm.

You’ll lead safety programs, audits, incident investigations, and cost and productivity improvements while ensuring customer orders are fulfilled cost-effectively. This role emphasizes staff supervision, training, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory leadership and ability to motivate staff.
• Experience with safety, operations and branch goals.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, DOT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily safe, efficient operations of the branch, including transport, warehouse and tank farm.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies and complete required training.
• Support sales while maintaining regulatory standards.
• Conduct safety audits and assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Report branch performance and identify cost and productivity opportunities.
• Coordinate staff and ensure tool and training availability for safety and standards.
• Maintain budget and operating plans aligned with branch goals.
• Manage customer orders and ensure timely, cost-effective fulfillment.
