Job summary

Astrophysics Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor for our Ontario, California manufacturing facility.

You will coordinate the production schedule, warehousing, materials management, and day-to-day operations, supervising production and warehouse staff to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time deliveries. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and management to optimize material flow, address shortages, and drive operational excellence while supporting customer relationships and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or Engineering preferred.
• 3–5 years operations experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficient in Excel; ERP experience.
• Excellent organization, adaptability, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Operations activities including planning, warehousing, materials management and production.
• Lead warehouse staff for receiving, packaging, and order prep.
• Manage cycle counts and collaborate with inspection to reduce MRB and returns.
• Track WIP and report delays; work with departments to resolve.
• Transact in ERP with accurate work orders and changes.
• Interface with Buyers/Planners to prevent material shortages.
• Coordinate with engineering for ECRs, BOMs, and transitions from R&D to production.
• Ensure on-time, accurate information to stakeholders and customer relationships.
• Oversee order processing and product demonstration preparations; update management.
