Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Denver, CO. You will lead a team of drivers and freight handlers, ensure safe and efficient loading/unloading, and enforce company policies to maintain a positive work culture.

You will collaborate with customers to resolve freight issues, monitor shipments, and drive continuous process improvements as part of our logistics leadership team.

Qualifications

• Two years supervisory and transportation experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Pre-employment skills assessment required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dock operations are performed safely and efficiently, overseeing loading/unloading of freight.
• Supervise drivers, oversee hiring, training, scheduling and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct weekly/daily meetings with shift personnel to discuss updates and issues.
• Coordinate with maintenance to keep company vehicles in good condition.
• Monitor misrouted/damaged shipments to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Work with customers to resolve freight issues and maintain service levels.
