Job summary

Harry & David in Hebron, OH is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day distribution and production activities. You will oversee labor, materials, product output, safety, quality, and costs while driving productivity and continuous improvement.

You will provide hands‑on leadership, coach and develop staff, maintain safety programs, operate SAP and related systems, and partner with cross‑functional teams to meet service levels and business goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, production, fulfillment, manufacturing, or similar operational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop teams.
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations within assigned areas of the distribution center or production facility, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and service expectations are met.
• Review workload and staffing requirements and appropriately staff shifts while remaining within established budget guidelines.
• Monitor productivity, labor, and operational costs and take action to ensure performance goals are met or exceeded.
• Provide hands‑on leadership, direction, coaching, and support to employees throughout the shift.
• Create a positive and respectful work environment that encourages employee engagement, accountability, teamwork, and retention.
• Coach and develop employees for future growth opportunities and take an active role in building the next generation of operational leaders.
