Job summary

Pike Engineering seeks a seasoned professional to serve as the local liaison to clients, supervising and mentoring design staff. You will ensure alignment with client expectations, direct project workflow, and maintain strong client relationships while coordinating with management on engineering service standards.

Responsibilities include onboarding new staff, managing timesheets, and supporting marketing efforts. Periodic deployment as Field Manager during storm events may occur as needed.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in Engineering Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of related communications or distribution experience.
• Strong leadership and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and provide leadership to team members.

Responsibilities

• Functions as the local liaison between Pike Engineering and the client and provides supervision and mentoring of design staff.
• Directs project workflow and communicates with the client to ensure staff are productive and responsive.
• Assists in the transition of new employees and trains on Pike Engineering and client procedures.
• Reviews service effectiveness with client supervision/management and addresses concerns.
• Maintains client relationships and supports marketing of engineering services to existing clients.
• Approves employee timesheets and may serve as Field Manager during major storm deployments.
• Performs other related duties as required.
