Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking a Project Analyst to provide day-to-day support to project managers and supervisors. The role requires knowledge of project management and accounting systems, with regular interactions across field, engineering, and client teams.

Responsibilities include assisting in project workflows, data analysis, invoicing, and time management. The position emphasizes problem-solving, process improvements, and timely project delivery within scope and schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred in Engineering Technology or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in distribution/utility or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports and business correspondence.
• Strong working knowledge of project management and accounting processes used by clients and Pike Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers and supervisors to ensure projects are properly set up, assigned, and tracked throughout their lifecycle.
• Utilize data gathering tools to analyze and collect data needed for project requirements.
• Assist in project administration and process improvements; review project requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Enter project information into the financial accounting system for accurate coding, invoicing, and reporting; review field timesheets for accuracy.
• Facilitate effective project meetings (kickoffs, status updates, client alignment).
• Maintain document control and filing systems for all projects.
