Job summary

Canteen is seeking a proactive individual for a role that blends field support with route driving and client engagement. You will participate in site visits, support grand openings, ensure compliance, and help drive revenue through merchandising and excellent service.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of driving experience, a valid Class C license, and strong communication skills. Expect travel to client sites and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; two year College degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
• 3 years driving experience required
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license (unless otherwise indicated by state) and good driving record
• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience
• Route management, retail and merchandising experience is preferred
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.)
• Food & beverage experience
• Excellent communication skills required
• Must be able to travel to client sites
• Must be passionate about providing world class service to our clients and customers
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform site visits and retain clients
• Assist branches with grand openings
• Ensure compliance with local and national standards; review reporting
• Develop action plans to improve metrics and profitability
• Coordinate efforts to improve customer retention and client experience at the point of sale
• Drive merchandising standards and introduce new products to increase revenue
• Oversee pricing opportunities and drive repeat sales
• Support route and product delivery as a driver when needed
