Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Sparks, NV is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee inbound/outbound activities, labor planning, space utilization, and customer communication. You will supervise workforce, hire and train, and ensure operations meet safety, quality, and cost objectives.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years in logistics, 1 year supervising, forklift training preferred. Proficiency with MS Office, RF scanners, and WMS is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: forklift certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation

Responsibilities

• Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities.
• Maintain systems for safe, efficient, and profitable operations.
• Meet client KPIs and adhere to quality systems.
• Plan daily work schedule and assign duties.
• Provide training, performance reviews, and HR support.
• Oversee warehouse staffing, space utilization, and equipment.
