Job summary

Comprehensive Logistics Inc. (CLI) is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day Value-Added Assembly (VAA) operations, including staffing, training, scheduling, processing, equipment maintenance and loss prevention.

The role requires solving problems, making informed decisions, and guiding the department toward maximum efficiency and safety. You will coach VAA associates and ensure policy adherence while communicating with Plant Supervision and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma.
• Two (2) + years Supervisor/ Leadership/ Management experience within Manufacturing Operations is required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in the timely distribution of all outgoing deliveries according to Company standards.
• Ensure the accurate processing of all material based on Company policies and procedures.
• Communicate with Plant Superintendent and Quality Personnel.
• Help solve problems and make informed decisions that affect service and productivity of the Value-Added Assembly (VAA) area.
• Oversee compliance of processes with established Company policies and standards, such as property, personnel practices, security, and record-keeping procedures.
• Involved in Multi-disciplinary Five Phase Problem Solving (Continuous Improvement) Teams that directly drives company’s Continuous Improvement Process and Policies.
• Responsible for On-the-Job Training.
• Maintain proper documentation and records.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
• Enforce company policies/ procedures and corresponding work instructions.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
