Job summary

OTO Development is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Sunnyvale, CA. You will assist the General Manager in hotel operations, leading Front Desk, Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance and Food Service quality.

You’ll hire and coach staff, manage performance, and ensure high standards across the site while minimizing disruption and travel. This role requires 2+ years in management and strong GAAP/finance understanding.

Qualifications

• Food & Beverage experience is required for consideration.
• 2+ years’ experience in a management capacity within a service organization.
• Knowledge of basic GAAP Accounting and Finance principles.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience supervising 5 or more employees.

Responsibilities

Salary: $29.00–$30.00 per hour

Food & Beverage experience is required for consideration. Candidates must have prior experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory or leadership role, with strong knowledge of daily hotel operations, guest service, and team management.

What will you be doing most days?

• Responsible for assisting the General Manager in a variety of hotel operational duties
• Lead the staff as coach and trainer in the proper execution of Front Desk, Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, and Food Service standards
• Responsible for hiring associates, managing performance, communicating feedback, administering discipline and training the employees as they perform their jobs
• Responsible for the total site in the absence of the general manager
• Ensure the site operates to high standards and achieves great results

What are the requirements for this position?

• You have a college degree in finance, business, operations, management, or related field (preferred). Extensive, relevant experience may substitute.
• You have 2+ years’ experience in a management capacity within a service organization
• You have knowledge or formal school courses of basic GAAP Accounting and Finance principles
• You have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• You have extensive technological expertise with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• You have experience in supervision of 5 or more employees preferably

Physical Requirements for this Position

You must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates.

Travel Requirements

This position would require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding area.
