Position Summary

An Operations Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in planning and driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations Supervisor leads the store and supervisory staff, ensures smooth store operations, and oversees all opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions
  1. Management
    • Work effectively with store management and staff.
    • Supervise the store’s crew, including assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
    • Communicate effectively with management and staff.
  2. Customer Service
    • Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
    • Promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, thank).
    • Handle customer relations issues per company policy and foster a positive shopping experience.
    • Provide personalized feedback and coaching to colleagues (e.g., myImpact coaching, customer feedback).
    • Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
  3. Merchandise/Presentation
    • Price merchandise, stock shelves, and support planning and execution of displays and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
    • Support off-shelf merchandise display and maintenance.
Required Qualifications
  • Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, and computer proficiency.
  • Advanced communication, supervision, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and respond to urgent issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Additional Details
  • Anticipated weekly hours: 40
  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Pay range: $17.10 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience and other factors.
