Job summary

GreenWaste Recovery LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead one or more facilities under the guidance of the Operations Manager. The role is based at our Hayward office with some travel potential, and involves overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in supervision within production/manufacturing, strong communication, project management skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of supervision in production/manufacturing or a related field.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred for the role.

Position Summary:

GreenWasteis seeking to fill the position of Operations Supervisor to provide support to one or more facilities. Through the guidance and direction of the Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operation of the facility and the team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise a team of five to ten employees. Organize,monitor, and prioritize tasks for the team.
• Troubleshoot andmaintainthe anaerobic digestion and support systems in an operable manner.
• Complete daily, weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly site inspections.
• Evaluate workflow andmonitorthe control system to ensure operational efficiency.
• Organize and distribute training and educational material for the team.
• Review safety requirements with the team and enforce safety policies.
• Monitor and oversee special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Ability to work well with other employees in a team environment and communicate to ensure safety.
• Project Management.
• Must be able to learn specific company software used and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability tohandle conflict and engage in problem resolution.

Qualifications:

• Two (2) or more years of supervision in production manufacturing or a related field.

Language Skill:

• Required: Bilingual in Spanish

Physical Demands:

• Ability to physically push, pull and lift objects up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

• Hours: Monday-Saturday 7AM - 3:30PM
• Mandatory Overtime

Typical work week is Monday through Friday. This position may require work hours beyond Monday through Friday shift. Will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and odors/smells. Schedule may vary including early start times, weekend work.
