Job summary

The candidate should have a strong background in supervision within waste or logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train staff to achieve high performance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; relevant logistics or operations experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is a plus.
• Prior supervisory experience, preferably in the waste or logistics industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
• Supervise and coordinate waste collection, disposal, and recycling teams.
• Monitor route efficiency and optimize resource allocation.
• Analyze operational performance and implement improvements with the team.
• Train and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team that meets customer expectations.
• Handle and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including route sheets and driver inspection logs.
• Lead regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
