Position Summary:

The Mult‑Site Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest standard of environmental safety and operational excellence by effectively managing the day‑to‑day operations of multiple transfer stations or material recovery facilities.

Your Role:
  • Ensures smoother operation of the facilities: ongoing construction, permitting, and operations.
  • Minimizes operational costs while maximizing productivity and maintaining safety and environmental compliance
  • Continually works to reduce turnaround time for trucks in and out of the site.
  • Accurately task waste volume and weight
  • Acts as liaison as necessary for community relationships.
  • Actively monitors ongoing permitting issues.
  • Complies with and ensures adherence to safety standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
  • Meeting all financial review dates and corporate‑directed programs in a timely fashion.
  • Oversee personnel of the department, including selecting, coaching, and training employees, and evaluating employee performance.e
  • Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
  • Assist in the budget process as required.
  • Ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of the physical property of the facilities through inspections and a preventative maintenance program with supervisors/employees.
  • Conducts, contributes and/or attends periodic safety meetings to maintain favorable working relationships with employees and promote maximum morale, productivity and efficiency.
  • Provides training and presentation as needed in a position and professional manner.
  • Take an active role in the improvement of safety and health in the workplace.
  • Update and submit revised reports promptly.
  • Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Direct supervision of full‑time employees at multiple sites, including transfer stations or materials recovery facilities.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.

Hiring Requirements/Preferences:
  • High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • 4‑6 years of experience in waste recycling or industrial or manufacturing environment
  • 1‑3 years supervisory experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
  • Driver’s license
