Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead frontline teams and oversee daily collection operations in a fast-paced environment. You will manage staffing, coach colleagues, and promote a robust safety culture to deliver reliable service.

You will coordinate with Customer Experience, Dispatch, Fleet Maintenance, and Career Path to ensure smooth routes, address challenges, and help grow future leaders within Coastal.

Formación

• Leadership experience in transportation, logistics, waste management, or similar operational settings.
• Strong communication, coaching, and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Waste industry experience and CDL are a plus; bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations team (Drivers, Collection Specialists, Lead Drivers, Dispatchers).
• Own staffing of the operation by partnering with the Career Path team to recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain top talent.
• Conduct daily crew-outs/crews-ins and safety huddles to prepare for a safe day.
• Promote a strong safety culture through coaching, observations, and safety initiatives.
• Monitor route execution and make real-time operational decisions to maximize safety and customer service.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless daily operations and resolve service issues.
