Job summary

Novick Corporation is seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead our warehouse and transportation teams across all three shifts. This role emphasizes flexibility and a willingness to drive routes when needed, while maintaining safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will supervise across warehouse and transportation functions, resolve issues quickly, and coordinate closely with leadership to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, transportation, logistics, or a similar operation.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced distribution environment.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to effectively supervise and motivate employees across different shifts and functions.
• Comfortable working hands‑on in both warehouse and transportation operations.
• Strong understanding of workplace and transportation safety.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; CDL may be preferred/required depending on routes.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT requirements when operating regulated vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory coverage across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift warehouse operations as needed.
• Direct and support warehouse employees to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient operations.
• Assist with receiving, picking, loading, inventory movement, and other warehouse functions when necessary.
• Monitor productivity, attendance, safety, and adherence to company procedures.
• Help resolve operational issues and maintain effective communication between shifts.
• Provide coverage for scheduled vacations, call-outs, staffing shortages, and other operational needs.
• Provide supervisory coverage for the Transportation Department as needed.
• Assist with daily dispatch, route execution, driver assignments, and delivery issues.
• Support drivers before departure and throughout their routes.
• Help address customer delivery issues, equipment concerns, and unexpected operational challenges.
• Reinforce DOT, safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Work closely with Warehouse and Transportation leadership to ensure a smooth transition from order fulfillment through delivery.

Novick Corporation is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Operations Supervisor to join our Operations team. This is a unique, highly flexible position designed for someone who understands that successful operations sometimes means stepping in wherever the team needs leadership and support.

This position will serve as a utility supervisor across our warehouse and transportation operations, providing supervisory coverage across all three warehouse shifts, supporting transportation operations, and driving routes when necessary.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, dependable, comfortable working varying hours, and willing to be hands‑on alongside the team.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Provide supervisory coverage across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift warehouse operations as needed.
• Direct and support warehouse employees to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient operations.
• Assist with receiving, picking, loading, inventory movement, and other warehouse functions when necessary.

• Step into routes due to call‑outs, vacations, staffing shortages, or other operational needs.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and delivery of products when driving.
• Serve as a hands‑on leader who is willing to perform operational work when necessary rather than simply directing others.

Schedule & Flexibility

This is not a traditional Monday–Friday, single-shift supervisory position.

The Operations Supervisor will work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business and may be assigned to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, transportation operations, or a delivery route.

Candidates must be comfortable with schedule changes and understand that flexibility is a key component of this position.
