Job summary

CarParts.com is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Las Vegas, NV to lead distribution center activities. You will plan, coordinate, and monitor daily throughput, ensure accuracy, safety, and cost control, and work with cross-functional teams to meet service levels.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in fulfillment, a high school diploma, strong communication, and PC literacy. You will mentor staff, drive process improvements, and uphold our policy of equal opportunity

• Prepare production records and reports as required.
• Compare attendance and productivity to standards; take remedial action.
• Interview, assist, train, and evaluate employees.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and safe operating practices.
• Work with others in a team environment; take direction and follow procedures.
• Lead and manage others effectively.

Summary of Role/Position

Performs complex managerial functions within the Distribution Center.Plans, controls, and directs assigned operations in a cost-efficient, timely and accurate manner.Works under direction with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment to attain specific goals and objectives .

YOU WILL :

• Schedule and assign employees in the direct performance of assigned tasks in one or more of the following areas: Receiving, Stock, IC/PC, Returns, picking, packingloading
• Review staff requirements, evaluate operations, makerecommendations,and takeappropriate action.
• Prepare or supervise the preparation of production records and reports asrequired.
• Compare employee attendance and productivity to standards and take remedial action asrequired.
• Interview, assist,train,and evaluate employees.
• Maintainappropriate inventoryof supplies.
• Maintain safe operating practices.
• Work with others in a team environment.Take direction, follow work rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.
• Lead and manage others effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

YOUMUST HAVE :
