CarParts.com is seeking an Operations Supervisor for our Las Vegas distribution center. You will oversee daily distribution center operations, schedule staff, and ensure timely, accurate processing of receiving, stock, returns, picking, packing, and loading.

• Schedule and assign staff for receiving, stock, IC/PC, returns, picking, packing, loading.
• Review staffing needs, evaluate operations, make recommendations, take appropriate action.
• Prepare or supervise the preparation of production records and reports as required.
• Monitor attendance and productivity to standards; take remedial action as required.
• Interview, assist, train, and evaluate employees.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and safe operating practices.
• Lead and manage others; work in a team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary of Role/Position

Performs complex managerial functions within the Distribution Center.Plans, controls, and directs assigned operations in a cost-efficient, timely and accurate manner.Works under direction with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment to attain specific goals and objectives .

YOU WILL :

• Schedule and assign employees in the direct performance of assigned tasks in one or more of the following areas: Receiving, Stock, IC/PC, Returns, picking, packingloading
• Review staff requirements, evaluate operations, makerecommendations,and takeappropriate action.
• Prepare or supervise the preparation of production records and reports asrequired.
• Compare employee attendance and productivity to standards and take remedial action asrequired.
• Interview, assist,train,and evaluate employees.
• Maintainappropriate inventoryof supplies.
• Maintain safe operating practices.
• Work with others in a team environment.Take direction, follow work rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.
• Lead and manage others effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

YOUMUST HAVE :

• 3-5 Years experience managing a large team
• Broad knowledge of the distribution of fulfillment operations.
• Graduation from high school or equivalent.Education and experience may be substituted for one another.
• Functional reading, writing, and math.
• PC literacy.
• Written and verbal communication/instruction skills
