Job summary

AKRIS is seeking an Operations Supervisor for our Madison flagship store in New York to drive day-to-day operations and efficiency, enhancing the associate and client experience.

You will report to the Boutique Director and lead in-store processes, stock control, and partnerships with the Store Director to meet corporate KPIs while ensuring timely handling of shipments, transfers, and returns.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Operations Management experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for majority of a 40-hour week.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS, CRM and Inventory Management systems.
• Ability to move or handle merchandise/boxes (0–40 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed operational goals & KPI’s set forth by Corporate.
• Ensure shipments, transfers, e-commerce orders and returns are processed daily and timely.
• Partner with Store Director to execute day-to-day operational tasks.
• Analyze operations processes and performance; recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
• Communicate operations directives to selling team and delegate tasks.
• Monitor stock levels daily; lead monthly cycle counts and annual inventory.
• Manage supplies ordering and administrative functions for store operations.
• Ensure store cleanliness and all equipment is operational.
• Complete opening/closing procedures on time; assist in POS closing when needed.
• Communicate with corporate office in partnership with Store Director.
• Assist selling team on floor with merchandise and client payments.

Position Summary:

As the Operations Supervisor at our Madison flagship storeyou will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and efficiencies. Streamlining and improving store processes that positively impact the associate and client experience.

In this role you will report to the Boutique Director

• Meet or exceed all operational goals & kpi's set fourth by Corporate
• Ensure all shipments, transfers, ecommerce orders and returns are processed correctly daily and in a timely manner
• Partner with Store Director to execute day to day operational tasks
• Analyze operations processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement as needed to increase efficiency in the store
• Communicate and explain any operations directives to the selling team and delegate appropriate tasks concerning upkeep of the store and the inventory levels
• Provide consistency of monitoring stock levels daily, lead monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory ensuring they are executed effectively and as per company's standards
• Manage all supplies ordering and administrative functions regarding store operations
• Ensure the store is always clean, all lights or other equipment are always fully operational
• Ensure all closing and opening procedures are completed in timely manner and assist in POS closing when needed
• Ensure communication with the corporate office is completed effectively and in the partnership with the Store Director
• Assist the selling team when needed on the floor with merchandise, effective floor supervision and processing client payments
