Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Understand production goals and implement actions to meet objectives.
• Provide leadership to direct reports; coach and counsel employees.
• Facilitate problem solving and team building activities.
• Participate in Performance Management Process (PMP).
• Enforce company policies, goals and objectives.
• Understand quality goals and meet ISO 9000 standards.
• Review plant supply inventory and advise purchasing when levels are low.
• Ensure training is conducted and training checklists completed.
• Communicate with other departments and locations.
• Assess customer requirements and advise on material and equipment suitability.
• Promote safe work practices and support safety goals.
• Review unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions.
• Follow and enforce CBA and Memorandum of Agreement.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ensure training is effectively carried out and oversee completion of training checklists
• Communicates with other departments within the facility, as well as other locations
• Understand customer requirements, participates, and advise on decisions regarding suitability of material and processing equipment
• Provide direction and coaching in safe work practices; support safety goals
• Review unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are carried out to eliminate workplace hazards
• Follow and enforce CBA and Memorandum of Agreement
• All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED is required; College Education preferred
• A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• The successful candidate is expected to develop proficiency in SAP as part of their role. Prior experience is not required, but a demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and become proficient in SAP is essential
