Job summary

ALICE + OLIVIA is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee three Los Angeles area stores—Beverly, Melrose, and Brentwood. You will coordinate inventory control, receiving, shipping, store transfers, and fulfillment while upholding brand standards and driving profitability.

Responsibilities include supporting sales goals, delivering exceptional customer service, managing RTVs and transfers, and ensuring consistent store presentation. Travel across stores and a flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel across three stores.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay on feet during shifts.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Proven track record of maintaining store standards and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support sales team to achieve store sales goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold company selling culture.
• Manage RTV and store transfer processes for timely completion.
• Maintain store interior, exterior, visuals, and operations per company standards.
• Monitor inventory movement and enforce shipping/receiving policies.
• Prepare new product and back stock for sales floor per policy.
• Communicate delivery delays and quality control updates to management.
• Maintain proper stock levels and coordinate repairs/maintenance.
• Complete daily fulfillit orders: pick, check, package, ship.
• Meet inventory accuracy and shrink targets.
• Organize stock room with clear labeling and neat arrangement.
• Support loss prevention and inter-store communication.
• Contribute to operational audits and POS training.

TITLE: OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

REPORTS TO: DISTRICT MANAGER

The Operations Supervisor plans, directs, and coordinates operational activities across the Beverly, Melrose, and Brentwood stores. This position supports the profitability and operational efficiency of the retail business through effective inventory management, receiving, shipping, store transfers, fulfillment, and maintenance of company standards. The Operations Supervisor ensures operational consistency across all three locations and proactively partners with Store Managers and Visual teams to support the overall customer and team experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support sales team to achieve store sales goals
• Provide exceptional customer service and guarantee all team members are embodying company selling culture
• Manage the RTV and store transfer process to ensure timely and accurate completion
• Ensure each store’s interior, exterior, visual presentation, and operations are maintained in accordance with company standards.
• Monitor the movement of all inventory and ensure staff adheres to all shipping/receiving policies and procedures
• Prep new product for the sales floor, and back stock according to policy and procedure
• Maintain ongoing and proactive communication with management about new arrivals, delivery delays, and quality control
• Keep each location accurately stocked with store supplies and partner with Store Manager to identify repair and maintenance needs in the store
• Complete daily fulfillit orders to completion – pulling product off sales floor, check quality, package, and ship
• Meet inventory accuracy and shrink requirements
• Organize the stock room, and ensure that accurate labeling, logical placement, neat arrangement and cleanliness are maintained
• Support, promote and assume responsibility for loss prevention in all areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls, inventory management and inter-store communication
• Support the team in passing and be versed in all areas of the operational audit
• Ensure staff is trained in all areas of POS usage

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to travel across the 3 stores
• Ability to constantly bend, open, lift, carry and move merchandise and fixtures up to 50 pounds as needed
• Continuous standing and walking; ability to move around all store areas and be accessible to customers
• Ability to occasionally climb ladders as needed
• Ability to work daily with telephone, POS and computer equipment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holiday
